GEC Management Ltd. (“GEC”) is a subsidiary of Global Education Communities Corp., one of the largest education and student housing investment companies in Canada. GEC provides student housing services across the Metro Vancouver area in British Columbia and operates this website, www.gecliving.com.

Collecting your personal information is essential for us to provide our housing services to you. This information also helps us better understand your needs, so we can ultimately provide better customer service to you.
GEC collects your personal information when you knowingly provide it. This includes the information you provide to us when you complete a form on our website, call or email us directly, message us on our social media accounts, or express interest in any of our properties listed on an online rental platform. The information we request may include basic contact information, such as your name, email address, and phone number, as well as other relevant information, such as the school you are attending and the approximate dates that you would like to move in and out of our student housing.
Information Use and Sharing
GEC may use your personal information to contact you regarding your housing inquiry. GEC will primarily contact you through email. If you provide a phone number, we may call or text you unless you instruct us not to. GEC may also use your personal information to email you with marketing or promotional materials that we believe you may be interested in. At any time, you may opt-out of receiving our communications by selecting the option at the bottom of our email communications.
If you are a student of one of our partner schools, we may share your information with the appropriate partner school, who may contact you with student housing information on behalf of GEC. Our partner schools include ILAC, ILSC, Greystone College, EC, EF, Kaplan, and VGC.
Your information may be shared with our management team for the purposes of move-in and move-out procedures, housekeeping, security, and maintenance services. Your information will not be shared with other residents, students, or guests.
Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses Cookies, which are small files used to track information about the traffic to the website and how users use the website. GEC uses data from Google Analytics to better understand our website activity, including where and when users access our website, what browser or device users use to access our website, and how we can improve our services to better address these users.
