Where is TWU Located?

TWU has two campuses in Richmond – Minoru and Lansdowne.

TWU Minoru Campus is located at 305-5900 Minoru Blvd, Richmond, which is right above Richmond’s City Centre. It’s a 5-minute walk from the Brighouse Skytrain Station, and near Richmond Centre Mall, City Hall, and the Public Library.

TWU Lansdowne is located at 102-5300 No. 3 Rd, Richmond. It is on the northwest corner of Lansdowne mall, occupying the second floor; this is a convenient location right by the food court and local shops.

Trinity Western University Langley is the main campus located at 22500 University Dr, Langley. The beautiful campus is surrounded by green landscapes and hiking trails, and you can take a short walk to a historic town called Fort Langley. Is TWU Good For International Students?

TWU has one of the most diverse campuses in British Columbia. International students at TWU are from over 45 countries and makeup 49% of the university’s total attendance.

In order to help students transition to university easily, TWU offers Academic Transition First Year Program (AT1) to new international students. So that they could get a learning coach and participate in classes consisting of other global students. At TWU, moreover, the Global Engagement Office (GEO) aims to support international students by planning events and providing training to increase the cultural awareness of their TWU students.

Is TWU Expensive?

At TWU, there are no tuition differences between Canadian and non-Canadian (International) students. Based on the 2022-2023 updates on their website, TWU tuition is $742 per semester hour (per credit).* This is approx. $2226 per course (3 credits = 742 x 3).

Typically, students take five courses (15 credits) per semester. So, the total tuition for one semester would be $11,130

When Do Classes/Terms Starts at TWU?

According to the Academic Calendar of TWU, there are mainly two semesters, which are Fall and Spring semesters.

  • Fall semester – Starts in September
  • Spring semester – Starts in January

Trinity Western University offers 7 different student residences on its Langley campus. The residences are unique because each hall is divided into small groups of students. Students hold weekly hall meetings and events that allow them to build a strong community with each other.

Currently, Trinity Western University’s Richmond Campus does not offer student housing. However, you can look into the largest off-campus student housing provider – GEC Living, as all GEC student residences are to close the campus and all sorts of restaurants and grocery stores.

  • GEC Pearson – the largest student residence community in Vancouver, 25 minutes by Sky Train to TWU Richmond Campus
  • GEC Marine Gateway – the most contemporary designed off-campus student apartment in Vancouver, 20 mins by Sky Train to TWU Richmond Campus
  • GEC King Edward – the newest student residence in Vancouver, 25 minutes by bus to TWU Richmond Campus

Many TWU students have found GEC to be a great option for their off-campus student housing, with fully furnished units, inclusive amenities, fast WI-FI, an on-site management team, and a centralized security system are included in all GEC housing options.
